The position provides an opportunity to test and evaluate present and future Technical Insertions (TI) and Advanced Processor Builds (APB) for the AN/BYG-1 Submarine Combat System. Employees work closely with the government primary contractor personnel to develop solutions that allow them to carry out submarine missions. The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams to deliver end-to-end solutions in the development of Combat Systems and operations support to fleets and the organization.
Seeking a creative and self-motivated, Submarine Fire Control Technician and Submarine Officers, who are quick thinking, great with clients and co-workers, and very dependable, in the development of the current and future TI/APB.
This Candidate will be responsible for the review of system/software requirements, design documentation; verification and system level test requirements perform system level testing on delivered software and document results. This position requires an individual who is quick thinking, able to communicate clearly with clients and co-workers and is very dependable.
The position requires a BS/BA in computer science, programming or mathematics. Equivalent experience can be substituted for a degree if the experience is directly related to AN/BYG-1 operations and employment.
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
